Businesses urged to get on board
Creative businesses across Bedfordshire have been urged to get involved in a new project aimed at promoting local talent.

A new website, Creative Bedfordshire, is set to be launched in the autumn to give designers, photographers, website developers and other creative services a place to showcase their work.

Beds County Council, which is funding the site, hopes the measure will help specialists make new contacts and attract customers.

Councillor John Scott, who is responsible for economic growth, said: "As part of the Creative Bedfordshire partnership, we have already held a number of networking events to promote creative talent and services.

"We have been working with people from the creative sector over the past months in developing the website which will hopefully become a 'one-stop shop' for people seeking creative services."

Anyone interested in the project can click here.

Today's Vote

Should worldwide tours of the Olympic flame be abandoned to stop giving protestors an easy target
Yes, it's a pointless stunt anyway and would not be missed
No, you can't give in to bully tactics from any quarter
Bring on more protests, they are more entertaining than the sport
