Town duo start but England are denied
Barnes-Homer and Howells play 90 minutes but Wales grab a late draw in friendly
LUTON Town duo Matthew Barnes-Homer and Jake Howells both completed 90 minutes as England C were held to a 2-2 draw by Wales U23s in a friendly at Newtown FC on Tuesday night.
Paul Fairclough’s men had taken the lead after just two minutes, when Crawley Town’s Kyle McFadzean, who was also named captain, scored with a delightful volley from the edge of the box.
